About Mass Farmers Markets (MFM)
Mass Farmers Markets (MFM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and was first established in 1978. For over 45 years the MFM provides development, training, and support for farmers markets. They champion the interests of communities served as well as the farmers who depend upon them for livelihood.
MFM is a collaboration of the Massachusetts Department of Food and Agriculture, University of Massachusetts at Amherst Extension Service, and farmers across the Commonwealth. The Mass Farmers Markets provide a central organization to assure a vibrant future and supports over 200 local farms today.
