Home Listing Inventory Q3 2026:  MA Home Listings

The charts below provide comparison of Home Listing Inventory from 1999 through Q3 2026 (as of September 30, 2026) in Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Medford, and Somerville MA.  The number of homes listed for sale reflects the amount of available inventory for home buyers to choose for their new home.

For a home seller, a lower number of home listings presents less competition in the market from homes with similar features.  The opposite is true for a home buyer such that competition from other home buyers is stronger when the number of similar homes listed for sale is low.
